LEQ: How does google display maps using latitude and longitude
Activating Strategies: Have students seated. Display Google Earth on overhead plasma. Enter a Lat/Long for them. Watch Google Earth rotate earth and zoom in on Lat/Long. of School. Discuss how it uses the navigation system to find things.

GOOGLE EARTH INSTRUCTIONS:
Syntax for GoogleEarth 73 43 21.2N, 43 19 12.6W
Immediately click on pushpin after it flies to the location.
Put the lat long into the name of the first waypoint, add SET in the name.
The second point you fly to doesn't need the Lat Long added as it displays naturally. But add GOTO to name.
Add a Third pushpin and use your name as the label.
Rotate for good viewing and print. Choose Graphic 3d view in Dialog box.
