Teaching Strategies and Distributed Guided Practice/Summarizing Prompts:
Students work in teams of two to complete Orienteering Lab. Each group gets a different lab sheet.
Students complete worksheet outside. Jobs are split so each person does 1/2 of bearings and triangulation.
Students come inside and map out their triangulation results.
