How is your energy source converted?
What are the potential of your energy source?
What are the limitations of your energy source?
What are the benefits of your energy source?
Activating Strategies:
· Introduce the requirements for the essay
o One page double spaced
o 4 paragraphs, each one answering one of the questions from the research sheet.
o If they do a good job on the essay then the script will be easier to write.
Acceleration/Previewing/Vocabulary:
Energy conversion, System, Sustainable, Global Climate change, Energy source, Infrastructure.
Teaching Strategies and Distributed Guided Practice/Summarizing Prompts:
· Bring students to the computer lab
· Review Wiki (More information has been added to use for essay)
· Help students with essay
Summarizing Strategies:
· Remind them that essay is due tomorrow
· If not done they will have to stay after school
