How does the use of storyboard’s help in the production of a video?
Activating Strategies:
· Handout storyboard worksheet
Acceleration/Previewing/Vocabulary:
Storyboard, Scene, Set.
Teaching Strategies and Distributed Guided Practice/Summarizing Prompts:

· Assign scenarios to groups
o Have them write it down on storyboard worksheet
· Introduce storyboard assignment
o A storyboard is used to layout what is going to happen in the scene.
o Use multiple storyboard to help with complex scenes
o The drawings are not as important as the description at the bottom.
· Have group’s get together and start brainstorming ideas and work on storyboard.
o Write down all the ideas from brainstorming
o Keep the ideas within reason; make sure you can get the props you want to use!

Summarizing Strategies:
· Remind students that the storyboard must be done by next class, or they will have to stay after to complete it.
